ROI in financial literature is the abbreviation of Return on Investment. In the Dapp scene when there is a ROI reference, most of the time, its how many days a Dapp will pay dividends to cover the initial investment.

A 30 day ROI is exceptionally good but under two months is really good as well. Established Dapps could have a one year ROI period (that is still crazy versus regular investments). It all depends on the quality of the Dapp, size of the dividend pool, dividend model, hype, among other small factors.

Most Dapps investors stack multiple ROIs and risks. For example, one of the most common investing strategies is to use the dividends of riskier Dapps to buy the tokens of more secure, old and established Dapps.
